Project / Program Application

  1. Name of your program/project: Community Alliance, Beyond Coordination

  2. Name, email, & Arbitrum wallet address:

    1. CryptoReuMD
    2. [email protected]
    3. Nación Bankless multisig: 0xd31e40b399d515e55b7cd94ffd7eccbbff44282d
  3. Credentials (why are you best to lead this program)?

    1. I am currently the champion of Bankless Nation, a subDAO of BanklessDAO with 3 years of experience in DAO. In addition, I have been building a community since 2020. I have also been a participant in rounds in Gitcoin Grant 12, with proposals from Ethereum Mexico and with proposals from Nacion Bankless in round 18 and 19, also running in those from Latin America and those from Gticoin Citizen Round, like grantee. I have also been a curator of round 19 of Gitcoin. Finally, I coordinated the 1st Mexican Gitcoin round, with an excellent response.
    2. I have a medical background, so public goods and technology are something that excites and motivates me.
  4. Provide a summary of your intended program & the impact

    1. The purpose of this document is to determine the circumstances under which the Arbitrum Communities round will be conducted in the Gitcoin Grants Stack.
    2. Clarify the communication channels necessary for the Grantees, short- and medium-term objectives, as well as the measurement instrument to be used.
    3. Support the Latin American builders and developers communities to launch useful applications for communities that are not very technical but intend to build on Arbitrum.
    4. Create a shared portfolio where funds will be secured for subsequent dispersal.
    5. Publish financial & analytics reports on grant funding value, volume, outcomes and other relevant metrics requested by the community in the Arbitrums Forum.
    6. The creators of this round are committed to publish on the Arbitrum and Gitcoin forum the results and experience of this round.
  5. How does your project meet one or more of our strategic priorities outlined above?

The Arbitrium Strategic Priorities that we are trying to solve:

    1. Creation of tools for native crypto communities such as:
      1. Newsletter minting and 1Inch wallet integration
      2. Podcast recording and publishing
      3. Social posting and utilization
      4. Verification tools
      5. Inscriptions or Attestations with a better frontend.
      6. Grants tooling
      7. DAO Tooling
    2. Provide knowledge to Latin delegates with online profiles, not only the knowledge in Tally or the forum, which only those of us interested in Governance enter, but for the entire community, a tool that allows us to stay active.
    3. It will be necessary at all times to have open source so that whoever can access these tools can improve or perfect them.
    4. We consider that the Arbitrum community is great, however it is fragmented due to lack of chain communication, so having tools that allow communication and adoption will be disruptive.
  6. What impact does this have to the Arbitrum ecosystem?

    1. This round is classified as proactive. The intention is to invite developers and builders within web3 to create the tools necessary for everyday users, who are fascinated to learn but do not have the ramps to access publishing their content and impact,
    2. Furthermore, we consider that it is a priority to have traceability of the work of the people who report, given that the tools do not yet exist and this could be the outline of the future of impact tracking.
    3. Currently we have joined eleven communities of them that have benefited from Arbitrum, Gitcoin and 1Inch, however it is difficult for us to carry out the evolution of the impact of our contributions beyond the web2 tools we have, so we see here an unmet need that can be easily covered with this implementation
  7. How do you plan to execute this program (Specification & Implementation)?

    1. Our inhouse round operator will set up the round and manage the round.
    2. Chain : Arbitrum One
    3. Matching Pool : 1700 ARB
    4. Matching Cap: TBD
    5. Application Dates : 2024/02/06 - 2024/02/13
    6. Round Dates : 2024/02/17 - 2024/02/28
  8. What are your Milestones?

    1. Finalizing of the round - 01/03/2024
    2. Forum post and updates 10/02/2024
    3. Round applications
  9. How will the community validate impact?

    1. To carry out the monitoring of the round we need:
      1. That builders and developers have a GitHub or have a mechanism in which they report previous activity.
      2. Deliver a sketch of the work before the start of the round, this can be code, presentation or writing, the idea you plan to carry out, Gitcoin.
      3. The use of the Arbitration forum will be a priority in which we will create a specific section to report the progress of this round, so that the grantees become familiar with Governance governance and are motivated to read the forum.
      4. We will review each application with the curators of the round and fortunately we have more technical people who will be able to review the implementation and in the near future begin to work specifically with the community that interests your project or solves the main problem
  10. Funding requirements & timing

    1. End of the round - 28.02.2024
    2. Finalizing the round and disbursement 15/03/2024
