Using OBS go to Settings > Stream > Set “Service” to Twitch, click “Use stream key” > copy/paste stream key > press “OK” in bottom right corner.

The announcement/ description is ready to go on Twitch so it will be titled automatically when you go live.
Using OBS, go to settings > output > recording format > mp4
This will prompt you to select a file. I use the BanklessDAO Community Call JPEG.
<aside> 🖼️ When you create scenes for the first time, you will have to fit them to the window properly by adjusting within OBS.
The size and aspect ratio of your source displays also affect its appearance in OBS, so you will need to balance the sizes appropriately to accommodate your on-screen and OBS workflows and make sure the stream appears correct to the viewer.

This is our title page and cover photo. I use this to start the call and cover the slides if there are any issues I need to fix on the fly.
[Open the Community Call slide deck in your browser of choice.]

<aside> ⚠️ It is important the slides are layered in this order because higher layers are on top and covering lower layers.

If any changes to the slide deck are made after the stream begins you will not know until it’s too late. The CC cover gives you an emergency cover-up to fix anything going on.
<aside> 👁️ The eyeball button toggles layers (in)visible.

When you toggle “CC Cover” you will be covering the slide deck which gives you time to adjust or refresh the page if slides are out of order or inserted after the stream begins.
Audio Mixer:
Mic/Aux” will only be necessary if you are speaking as well. In which case route your mic of choice into OBS and Discord.
<aside> ⚠️ ———————————— 🚨 VERY IMPORTANT! 🚨 ———————————————
Make sure your mic is muted in OBS as well as Discord or the stream and recording will hear all of your background noise.
