Purpose of Rebranding

To redefine ourselves as a new organization, independent of the Bankless brand and the LLC, while continuing to have a positive impact on the web3 space and providing a working environment in which to experiment.

Goals of the Rebrand

• To realign our brand with the sentiment of the current dedicated community as our compass.
• To complete the name selection process by September 21, 2024.
• To capture and project an energy that fits our vibe.

Results

After several weeks of discussion among the TC, those invited to the brainstorming doc, and the attendees of the Community Calls, the TC decided on Black Flag DAO as our new name. The announcement was made at the CC on October 8, 2024.
