Here’s a template idea of how you can turn in your time completed during the week: I’ve created this to save us from any issues regarding tasks not being properly documented.
Remuneration is monthly.
On the:
Have your documents in by the:
This gives us enough time to input any remuneration processes, and it gives us enough time to track down any discrepancies. Suggestions are welcome. Please add them below.
Best Practices:
- You want to be as thorough as possible. That way, whoever is reviewing your work does not have to come back with questions.
- You want to show evidence of the work that you’ve completed. Preferrably you should have this work evidence showing in dework. If it is not possible to show evidence in dework, document the work that you’ve completed in a Google Doc. Considering the people who input payroll have other tasks to complete, It
- You want to give a rough guesstimate on how much time you’ve spent on a topic. Be reasonable in your time breakdown. For example:
- it’s highly unlikely that it takes more than 3 - 4 hours to complete a basic blog, document, or proposal. There will be exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
- Think reasonably with respect to your tasks. If it was not a task that you were paid for before, dont plan on being paid for it now.
- however, if you believe that you should be paid for it, explain why. You are welcome to express your opinion on the state of tasks that should be paid, versus tasks that you should not be paid for.
- We typically do not remunerate for folks attending workgroup meetings. I am open to hearing an objection to this. But as we have not done this since the beginning of the project, I will not be doing so for season 7.

This is a suggestion on how a list of tasks should be completed for submission to operations/finance. It is preferred that it be sent in a google doc, but not necessarily the end of the world if it is not.
