Editorial Review
A. Review Editing Framework and revise as necessary
-
Revision Suggestion from Samanthaj:
- How we write numbers (is it one or 1?) (one through nine, 10-100, or 1-9, 10-100?)
- We will use conventional rules and type one - nine
- Evidence: always link to a source when making a claim that's not an opinion
- Example: "BTC has grown in the past..." needs a link
- Example: "Perpetual protocol has facilitated over $19B in trades over..." needs a link
- We should conduct our due diligence to ensure claims are substantiated
-
Extra words: enhance readability by eliminating unnecessary phrases like "in order to," "seem to be," and "in conclusion." Short sentences are easier to read.
- Latin shortcuts: avoid latin shortcuts, since not everyone reading our articles speaks English as a first language. Includes: "i.e.", "etc.", "e.g."
- Alt text: always include alt text for images to accommodate people using screenreaders
