Once a certain task is scheduled and assigned to a contributor, there is a need to have a place for a focused discussion around this task, in order for the contributor to be able to resolve any questions, issues or blockers on their way to complete the task.

In order to isolate the discussion from many other concerns and limit the involvement to only the relevant parties, it is proposed to have a Discord thread per every such task.

The recommended practices are:

• Create a thread once the task is scheduled on the Task Board.
• Name the thread in the following format: Task | #NAME# , where #NAME# is the name of the task in the Task Board.
• Mention relevant team members when asking a question or raising any concern.
• Archive/Remove the thread once the task is completed.
• Re-open the thread if necessary.
