Suggested Coordinape Framework

Currently Policy

We have 1 membership tier for Coordinape participation. We budget 4,000 BANK per Active Member that signs up for Coordinape. We have a bare minimum Contribution requirement that you be a Guest Pass holder and RSVP and attend Weekly Syncs or other Guild Meetings in order to qualify as an Active Member.

Comment

Through study of the Active Member Beaker Role Tag and through studying the contributions claimed by members, it is evident there are actually 4 main types of contributions.

Meetings, Learning, Practice, and Contributions

I need to do a more detailed statistical analysis but the distribution of contributions aligns mostly with a Pareto 80/20 type of bell curve, with Learning and Onboarding being a majority of the contributions. Only about 20% of the “contributions claimed by members” had to do with the completion of action items that move projects forward.

Policy Suggestion

I suggest that we consider creating 4 tiers (or roles) of Coordinape membership each with their own Minimum Requirements. Using the DAO Coordinape as a model we would have:

Tier 0 - Hatchling

Hatchlings are Brand New Members to the Guild.

We do not budget based on members in this Tier.

Members at this time are not invited to participate in Coordinape until they understand and confirm the following with the South Wind Role Holder and or South Wind Support.

Tier 1 - Nestling

Once the Onboarding process happens Coordinape is accessible.

At this stage members can give and receive GIVE in Coordinape.

They are allotted 25 GIVE tokens and can receive them
