Translators Experience Exchange

This document is the result of the translation XP exchange that took place on the 25/02!

Tips and tricks shared:

1. If you don’t know how to translate a certain word:

• Look for articles in your language that could have the term you are unsure how to translate and get ideas for translations from there
• Talk to other translators from your language group to ask for advice
• Leave the word untranslated and add an explanation in brackets what its meaning is

1. To verify the quality of your translation:

• Make sure the review process is up to standard
• Ask a non-crypto native and non-English speaker whether your translation is understandable for a beginner

1. General tips:

• It’s good to translate an article in one go to ensure consistency and flow

• Use the help of AI translation: Google Translate or DeepL but be very careful and triple-check everything
