Welcome to the Writers Guild!

Hi, I'm Melasin_eth, the Talent Coordinator, and I'm your first point of contact in the Writers Guild when you join. You can DM me on Discord: melasin.

Most of our weekly meetings occur in the Writers Room audio channel. Here's the line-up:

• Monday, 10am PDT (5pm UTC): Writers Guild Weekly Meeting
• Tuesday, 10am PDT (5pm UTC): Talent Scout Office Hours (good "first plunge" for new members in the guild)

The best ways to get started are to:

• Attend a meeting.
• Introduce yourself in the **writer-general** channel.
• Volunteer for a project in a meeting.
• Submit a piece of writing for consideration by Bankless Publishing.
• Check out available Newsletter bounties and Bankless Publishing opportunities.
• Check out the Editing Framework for help with the Guild’s preferred style and some information on the editing process.
• Take the content and/or copy editing tests to be qualified to edit for Bankless Publishing. You can find these in Discord, pinned to the #editing channel.
• Find a niche where you can contribute and just go for it!
